Getting lock out of an account is never pretty and while there is usually a way to recover the password, it may be impossible in certain cases. Password Armor can be your last-ditch effort to recover passwords. It can scan your system for saved passwords and it can also help you avoid losing your passwords in the future. If it's saved somewhere in your system, you can recover anything, from online passwords to local application passwords.

The software is free to try for a limited period of time, with some restrictions. It doesn't take long to install its components, tough you need to have MS Visual C++ 2013 installed on your computer, otherwise it will take slightly longer. The hardware requirements are modest, so you don't need powerful hardware to run the application.

When launched, the software will immediately scan for saved passwords on your computer. The results are displayed in a list, on its compact user interface and they include the name of the service or application, the username, as well as the password, which is obviously hidden by default. Of course, you can reveal the password or copy it to the clipboard, if you want to avoid over-the-shoulder looks.

The software is capable of recovering just about any kind of passwords, including Windows passwords, social media or cloud passwords. However, Password Armor works with information that is saved on your computer, so you might find all your passwords. Fortunately, it can help you avoid losing them.

If you wish to avoid losing passwords that are not saved, the software provides you with options for saving them. All you have to do is insert an address and your login credentials on a small window and they will appear on the main interface each time you run the application.

With Password Armor working on your computer, you don't have to worry about lost passwords.

Pros

The software can find all passwords saved on your computer. You can recover passwords from your social media service, cloud, applications and more. It lets you add new ones, so you can avoid losing them.

Cons

You can't restrict access to the main interface with a master password. Also, you can't perform any operations, like revealing or copying a password.
